This place is our hands down favorite BBQ place in town. It is on the west side of College Station near the river, but soooo worth the drive. The meats and sides are outstanding and Brad is an amazing pit master. Everyone there is super friendly and the food is never less then excellent. We especially like the brisket, sausage, turkey, mashed potatoes, corn casserole, and pinto beans! They are only open lunch time Thursday - Saturday but are so worth it - reasonable prices too!

Yeah, yeah, it's Panda Express but... this is one of about 3 locations in the entire US with a Tea Bar inside it! The teas are all fresh brewed, the boba is fresh made, and the fruit add ins are freshly cooked in store. One of Beth's favorite places! (Try the raspberry green tea with boba!)

Brazilian Steakhouse ya'll. What more can we say? It's just like the ones in the big cities but here - great service, great food, so much meat! We love eating here when we can.

It's going to be busy during regular dining hours so be prepared. Be sure to call ahead and check - this location isn't really special compared to the other Saltgrasses but if you have never been to one, it's a good place to try. We especially love the mac and cheese, potato soup, and bread!

MEXICAN!!! Sort of/mostly. This is a great great place when you want restuarant quality food but you don't want the hassle of waiting or dealing with a wait staff. The steak is excellent here and we especially love it on the fajitas (-$2 on the #9 on Friday!) and nachos. The chicken soft tacos are another favorite (on special on Tuesdays!) as are basically any of the enchiladas. Don't forget to drown the sopapillas in honey!

This is a street taco place that is just AWESOME. It is well known in town and we only rarely eat there now because of the hassle at times. Never mind that and you are set to enjoy some of the best street tacos and sides we've ever had.
Shipleys, why are you on here? Because our locally owned and operated chain of Shipleys is AWESOME!!! We have had Shipleys in other towns and it is a no go for us in general but the locations in town are so good - main reason? The spicy kolaches (sausage but with pepper jack cheese oozing all in the middle with it) are out of this world. These locations are busy all the time so the food is hot, fresh, and just great!

Another one near the farm and it's a good one for burgers. Voted about a million times the best burger in the area, Koppe Bridge has been around for a long time and for good reason. We recommend the 1/2 lb burger loaded how you like it (share it with a friend if you want a 1/4lb because the thicker burger is much nicer!).

We've only eaten here a handful of times but it is always good. The menu changes regularly so my recommendation is go for whatever sparks your fancy - it'll be awesome. Staff and service are awesome and the grounds are gorgeous.

Franks is a good old back roads gas station that also serves excellent food. We're talking burgers, bbq, and breakfast goods for those on the go.

Nothing special about our location - it's the same hot, fresh, awesome chicken fingers that this chain is known for. It's right next to the locally owned Layne's Chicken Fingers so cast your vote for which one you prefer... ours is this one ;)

Parks & Nature
Great place to hike, take in nature, and bird watch! This is an off leash park as well so be aware that there are regular joggers/hikers and you may run into their four legged pets. The nature center is great and offers yoga classes as well as other classes.

This is the mother lode for the area grocery in our opinion. It's huge, it's trendy, it's going to have all the fun things that a basic HEB has. Free sushi samples on Saturday, awesome meats, great bakery, and loads of choices on ready made meals. This is our favorite HEB in town.

Liz does an excellent job and her husband is apparently highly sought after for his solar nails? We don't do anything that fancy being farm people, but what we've seen look amazing! We love the pedicures and the ease of getting in and out without feeling rushed.

Target didn't have what you wanted? Kroger is just up the road and our back up for when we need other items and don't want to head in to the Texas Ave HEB. Nothing terribly fancy, but it's a good store. Also the Starbucks in here is rarely busy and cheaper then the stand alone Sbucks ;)
