It's a wonderful place for a leisurely stroll or keep in shape with a vigorous run, or kayaking or canoeing. Spanned by the famous Magnolia Bridge, from Big Easy fame. Bayou Beer Garden at one end, and on the way to Esplanade and it's famous cemeteries, it is bordered by great picturesque New Orleans architecture, especially: The Sanctuary, The Customs House, Our Lady of the Rosary Church which has a delightful Choir on Sunday masses, Cabrini High School and The Pitot House museum.
