They feature a mostly Italian menu but their specialty is the strip steak. The Steak at Pennells is one of the best values in Saratoga. Saratoga Spa State Park, distinguished by its classical architecture and listed as a National Historic Landmark, is noted for its diverse cultural, aesthetic and recreational resources. New York state designated the boundaries around the 6-million acre Adirondack Park in 1892 as a way to protect the natural resources of the region. Today, it is the largest publicly protected area in the U.S. - bigger than Yellowstone, Everglades, Glacier and Grand Canyon national parks combined. Visit Lake Placid, scene of the 1932 and 1980 winter Olympics. Check out the annual Ironman competition. Take a hike on one of the 46 high peaks. (4000' and above).
