A very popular place to sample local New Orleans cuisine. It comes across as a dive bar but features great food. Be warned...there is almost always a line outside.

Surrey's has the best breakfast in the City in our opinion (Tout de Suite is a close second). It's in the Uptown neighborhood.

The Old Point Bar is reportedly the most filmed bar in the country. It appeared in the movie "Ray" among many others. Great New Orleans local bar feel and outside seating. It's one and a half blocks from the apartment, right next to the levee.
