This is a very old Mexican restaurant. Sort of a hip scene, you can often see minor celebrities eating the homestyle cooking and drinking the strong margaritas. Kitschy decor with waitresses wearing authentic-looking Mexican dresses.

Lots of people watching and street performers, souvenir shopping and fun restaurants. Park in the Hollywood and Highland shopping center. You will be able to see the Hollywood sign while strolling along. You can book a tour to Beverly Hills or the westside form there.

Block after block of pedestrian streets with eateries, shopping, street performers and just a few blocks from the famous Santa Monica Beach where there is a pier with carnival rides and games. Very LA!

LA is a driving city. Our public transportation is a work in progress. There is always Uber or Lyft, but buses are not a timesaving option.

LA has a great zoo with thoughtful animal enclosures. It's located within the enormous Griffith Park with a large parking lot. Its a great destination for families or animal lovers.
