On sunny days, this is a lovely walk and a historical place. There is a nice view of the water and you can see Charles Fort from the James Fort Beach. It's a nice place to picnic.

Kinsale if full of nice restaurants, but this is one of my favorites. It on the expensive side and you must make a reservation. Amazing musses, sea food and lamb.

This is my favorite restaurant. Good steak and wine (vegetarian and gluten free choices too), lovely atmosphere. Must make a reservation. If you are on a budget, then I recommend any of the pubs in town, like Blue Haven.

This pub is cozy and friendly with EXCELLENT food. Have an Irish cider and eat delicious mussels and scallops.

Drinks & Nightlife
Nice pub with a large outdoor terrace. I love going here after walking to James Fort and the beach. Must go on a sunny day and drink a beer outside. You can also hitch a boat ride back to the house or to the town centre for a few euros. This pub is CASH only though.
