The nearest Transjakarta bus stop is about 10 minute walk from home. Transjakarta is a busway service that connects main roads of Jakarta. It is very affordable as one trip will cost IDR3,500 (about USD.3). From this stop, you can go to many important point of interests: stations, Istiqlal mosque, the Cathedral, Immannuel Church, and so on.
Rawa Selatan station

The distance is about 3.5 km from the house. You can travel by (car/motorcycle) taxi and busway (right from the Rawa Selatan stop).

This restaurant is known for its very exotic ambience. It is hosted in a colonial building (a post office if I am not mistaken), but the interior is colonial and ethnic. Pricewise, it is very expensive. It is more a fine dine so the taste is not very authentic Indonesian.
