Nice and authentic place for thai food in this area. The restaurant is really cozy, it's decoration is very suitable and looks like you're dining in a fairy tale of 1001 nights. The food is their take on thai and fusion food. Wonderful

The surrounding area is wonderful and quiet, you feel as though you are in the middle of nowhere, but are actually only minutes from the coast. The food is average priced but worth it. The waiters can't do enough for you. Very special place. The food is European/Mediterranean.

The food is average priced but worth it. The waiters can't do enough for you. Very special place. The food is European/Mediterranean.

Parks & Nature
Castellar Zoo started off as an animal sanctuary and is now a zoo. All the animals have been rescued from other zoos and circuses. Castellar encourages children to interact with the animals. There are set times when you can stroke a baby tiger or feed lemurs by hand. A brilliant day out. There is a restaurant but we prefer to take a picnic.

A great African adverture. Spend the whole day here. It is a sprawling animal park with walking trails & vehicle tours to view flamingos, lions, zebras, elephants, giraffes, hippos and much more.

A stunning little village worth the drive from Marbella, in-fact one should dedicate a day to do the "trail of white villages". Beautiful architecture and landscape. This place is beautiful! The bridge is amazing, the shopping street is great. Make sure you visit Ronda's Bullfight arena, the oldest one in Spain!

Pay for a single fare or buy a 10-trip pass in a tobacco shop.The Malaga Card is great value. It offers you free entry to 10 museums and monuments, including Picasso's house, Malaga Cathedral and the beautiful Gibralfaro castle. Malaga has many great bars and taperias. While it is not customary to tip at tapas bars, at fine dining restaurants you should leave around 10% of the bill.

There are Mercadona's in every town. You do not need to go to Malaga. They are the local Spanish supermarket but have a few English and Gernam products. The Spanish alternatives are equally good.

Carrefour is the largest supermarket around. Approx. 10 mins by car. It has food, groceries, children's wear, toys, bicycles, DIY, TV's etc. It is more like a department store and quite reasonable.
