Food Scene

Quality Ingredients, flavors that are bold and nice atmosphere... great service. Great date night. I call it "confusion" because it's not solely a raw bar they have a good mix of styles of food and it's influenced from around the world... food is excellent...!

It's the best bakery in town! Twin sisters started this place up and it's been an instant hit. I don't eat a lot of pastry or bread, but I will go splurge here after a hard morning work out or when guests are in town.

It's one of the newest restaurants in town... Farm to Table concept. All things made in house. It's not overwhelming in flavors, but solid and different than so many Bozeman restaurants of a slab of meat with some surprising elements. Everything I had has been delicious, especially the whiskey ice-cream dessert.

Desire an oven baked pizza that takes you to Italy, the most authentic one you will probably find in Bozeman... it's hot by the bar near the big oven, but fun to watch the kitchen flow and see the pizzas go in. Try the Burrata cheese and house made bread, with pomegrante! The one appetizer I crave for once in a while...

Service isn't always great, long waits and sometimes not consistent food... but, it's different and not your greasy spoon breakfast place. Which is refreshing to have that option. It is my go to place when I want something little lighter. I am uncertain of the quality of ingredients, my eggs just aren't the bright deep orange as I was hoping for, but they do use some interesting twists in flavors and influenced by European and Turkish dishes. Same owner as Nova restaurant downtown, but you wouldn't know it. It has some classy elements vs the diner of Sola feel.

It's the place you won't forget and will tell your friends. Home cooked meal and great host... food is cooked on the old cast iron wood stove. Don't count calories here. Great place to stop after a hard hike up the "M"or Baldy... but, times change constantly, so look it up before going or give them a call.

Need Gluten Free? This is the place to try some almond meal waffles, pastries and almost everything on the menu can be switched to gluten free options. Also, it's fun to roam among the market and look at all the fun and unique items for sale. Dog beer to Bozeman iconic gift/souvenir items.

Best sushi in town, in my opinion (this has now been replaced by other sushi places on main st, but still worth mentioning). My staple each time is their miso soup and combo seaweed/octopus salad...

This is your big town, full drinks, comfort food place. Some unique specials, but the regular menu should please any person. Bison Burgers to Pot stickers. The Parmesan Truffle Fritz are my favorite with a bowl of their in-house French Onion Soup.

Drinks & Nightlife

It's a wine bar. Wednesday nights they have live jazz. Great food, great choices of wines. Happy hour in the early and late portions of the evening. Swanky, yet casual and solid service. I love going here even by myself.

Not really nightlife (drinks stops pouring at 8PM-Montana law). But, my opinion best brew in town, great space, often live music and awesome views! There is also food available.

Like cider... this is your only place in town that serves cider from the tap. Ginger is my all time favorite. Occasionally, music. Out door fireplace is kind of cool. Spanish lessons on Mondays (changes, so check first).

Bozeman has its first Kombucha place. If you prefer the more settle and digestive drink, go here. But, you may also want to call in advance to make sure they aren't sold out...which happens quite often. They are sandwiched in-between WildRye Distillery and 406 Brewery.

Parks & Nature

For the best views of the town and area, that is easily accessible, this is the place. I like to grab a coffee/snack and eat on one of the benches or sit on the ground. Tends to get busy with joggers and dog walkers...occasional biker. But, it's my go to place for a nice walk.

Want a bit of a challenge? Head to the "M" trail just out of town. There are a few ways up for different levels and challenge. Not far enough? Then, you can actually hike beyond that. This is part of the famous Ridge Run. The trail is getting busier each year and sometimes the parking lot gets a bit full. Try to go more early morning or late afternoon...
