Service, food and interior setting all absolutely gorgeous! I reccomend booking as it can be busy. It's really well located for the Royal Mile if you wanted to see this area in the evening. Fabulous wine. A little on the pricier side so save for a special occasion, but you are on holiday so enjoy and you won't regret it!

Classic but well done scottish food. Cocktails are delicious and it's great for Friday and Saturday nights as the live music is fantastic. I hear their breakfast is fantastic too! Not too expensive either.

Steak and sea food out of this world. Very small restaurant but so delicious! One of our favourites!

South African restaurant of dreams, this place is just incredible. We've been many times and have never been able to fault it! Try the monkey gland sauce, you will not regret it!!

The birthplace of Edinburgh gin! So much gin to choose from, such great service and cocktails are so inventive. A must if you are a keen gin drinker! Open till 3am at weekends.

Over 400 incedibly diverse whisky bars, just a fantastic selection of everything. Staff so willing to help and reccomend. Great diverse beers on tap and lots of good craic with bartenders. If you're peckish, the food is fantastic as well!

They have a fantastic Sunday market which is just fab and well worth going to. The number 24 drives through this area also so it is so easy to get to from our place.
