May not be open every day, so check it out on Facebook or call. They have wonderful gravy, coffee fries and unique, high-end eclectic creations!

Best wings and fries, hands down. The place is in the historic district and is huge. They also have sweet potato fries, pork chop sandwiches, chicken fingers and onion rings to die for. Great beverage selection, too. Take home a bottle of their famous sauce!

This historic place used to have gangsters who hung out in private quarters on the second floor. Step back in time in this really old school steakhouse with wooden booths, low lighting, an iconic long bar and great service. It's not cheap, yet it's a great night out.

This coffee shop 20 minutes west of Joplin is on the iconic Carthage Square by Route 66. It's worth it just to see the grand courthouse.

This is the site where the St. John's hospital was destroyed in the 2011 tornado. Across the street is a park with a memorial, pavilion, playground, swimming pool, butterfly garden and basketball courts.

It doesn't look like much but has a drive-thru wildlife park with hundreds of animals including peacocks, camels, water buffalo, gazelle, kangaroos, oxen, wolves, buffalo, deer, caribou, birds, turtles, snakes and an alligator! It's worth the $8-14 per person!!!
