We have two e-bikes available for rental from our co-host Janet.
Rental per bike: $30 / half day and $60 / full day.

Take a picnic and drive down the scenic Ruatiti Road to the Manganui-O-Te Ao River which is home to a protected population of the rare New Zealand blue duck. Excellent swimming spot.

Head down after dark to the mossy river banks just off the Makotuku river walkway (behind the south end of the Raetihi Holiday park) to see the lights of the glowworms.
Be sure not to make too much noise and keep torch lights to a minimum and you should see a great display.

'Bridge to Nowhere' tours depart from Pipiriki, jet boating up the Whanganui River for 32 km through the beautiful scenery. Once at the Mangapura Landing you are guided along an easy 40 minute walk to the Bridge to Nowhere - built in 1936 to give pioneering farmers access to their farms.

Cycle and or walking trail over the historic old coach road. Information boards along the way. Check out the historic viaducts and tunnel along the way. 15km return trip or get shuttle drop off for one way- start Horopito end if you want the slightly down hill direction.
