Sand dunes, spectacular rugged cliffs and islands, surf, surfing, body surfing, boogie boarding, life guards patrolled swimming in summer. Sunbathe. People watch. Stunning night skies and sunsets. Let the sound of the surf clear the clutter from your mind. Fishing. Watch one of the surf competitions held here. Surf board hire and lessons available. Walk south over the Patiki rocks at low tide to the keyhole, blue pool (safe swimming), blowhole and more, you might meet a seal or an octupus.
