Stunning canyon with amazing geologic history. Rock climbers are on the steep rocks everywhere, lovely river crashing on the rocks below. Great Picnic areas by the stream, and easy walking trails. Arrive early on summer weekends for parking. Access fee required.

Close to our house, we walk this lovely trail and neighborhood nearly every day. Views of Flatirons are incredible, as are the huge Cottonwoods. Next to a stream.

Easy 45 minutes walk through some of Boulder's prettiest posh homes. Niwot is a great town to visit nearby with amazing views of the Flatirons, Indian Peaks and Mt Meeker which is often mistaken for Long's Peak.
