One of Philly's favorite brunch spots. Long lines on weekends, but the big portions and laid back atmosphere makes it pretty hard to say no to! Honey's is open for dinner and is just as delicious, but it's traditionally more of a brunch and breakfast spot. Cash only, ATM on premise

This local coffee company has recently gone national. This is their flagship location. It is ultra yuppie, but the food and coffee are fantastic. I highly recommend the Draft Latte. Their food is fantastic too. Besides coffee, their baked goods and brunch are yummy. They have other locations around the city, but this is the largest and offers the most food and drinks

If you want a good brunch, this is a great spot. In addition, it becomes a relaxing (a bit divey) bar at night. Be warned that if you show up much after 11:00am during a weekend you will probably have to wait (but an insider tip is to ask if there are bar seats, which can get you in earlier).

There are shows upstairs most nights that are worth looking into - if not sold out in advance. But the downstairs is equally as fun! They have dj’s most weekends playing an array of music, good beers on tap, and a pretty extensive and tasty bar menu! There is also a pool table, definitely a spot worth checking out!

This is one of the newest gems in the city! They've revamped the area along the Schuylkill River into a recreational riverside green space, which stretches from 25th & Spruce to past the Philadelphia Art Museum. It boasts a vast stretch of trails for walking, running, biking and rollerblading, with picnic tables and benches right by the water. The park begins with 2 super-fun dog parks (I love to go and just watch the dogs play from the bridge!), and along the trail you'll pass by Philly's historic Boathouse Row, tons of outdoor sculptures and statues, and a skate park. If you want to have some lovely outdoor fun, this is a fantastic place to go and one of the best in the city!
