The absolute best almond croissants can be acquired here. Everything is baked fresh and their coffee is fantastic too. It's a great place to begin your day

For instagram picture worthy breakfasts, this is the place to go. The food is delicious as well as beautifully presented. The restaurant itself is wonderfully decorated in a vintage rockabilly style. I cannot recommend one dish, I love them all! Go early, there is always a line-up.

If visiting from outside of Montreal, most people will google where to get the best poutine, and the results will generally nudge you in the direction of the most touristy poutine. If you want to go where the locals go for their poutine, go to Ma Poule Mouillee. Their poutine and everything else on the menu is absolutely to die for. Moist chicken, spicy chorizo and the spicy sauce with a kick! Expect to stand in line, expect the line to be worth it. And probably see me standing in line next to you, because I can't get enough of this portuguese chicken.

Parks & Nature

Be prepared to spend many more hours here than you expected to. There is so much diversity present, between the green houses, rose gardens, japanese gardens, alpine gardens and more, you might want to pack a snack, or eat at their onsite restaurant. Once inside, it's hard to believe that you are still in a city at all.

Sightseeing

Its not too large, but they pack a lot of fun into a small space. I'd recommend this place for people with kids 7 and under. there are so many places you can just sit and breastfeed, including an exclusive breastfeeding room with comfy couches. The natralia room downstairs is fantastic for hands on touching, seeing, smelling fun experiences. As you walk through you get to experience five distinct ecosystems and see their plantlife and animals. From the rainforest to under the Gulf of St. Lawrence to the Artic, it is pretty great.

Very gorgeous cathedral. Definitely on par with what you would see in Europe. If you want to skip the loooooong lines, buy a walking tour and you will be able to walk right in. Don't forget to walk all the way to the back, there is a chapel - just as beautiful. Make sure you dress conservatively, otherwise they may not let you in.
