Delicious restaurant with a small dining area and creative and unique menu items. Good for families and romantic dinners alike. There is off street parking which is even better! Reservations are actually pretty decent to come by too!

Famous Jimmy Seas pasta. Huge servings and you can smell the delicious garlic aroma up the whole street. Very small dining area and long wait times. Arrive early to put your name in for large groups and expect a long wait during peak season. Or go late and squeeze in as families leave.

The original Black Dog tavern of the now famous t-shirts. This has been around since the 70's and is still a very down to earth tavern. Wait times can be long in the summer if you arrive after 9am, so expect to get there early or have a wait. Ask for the Ebony & Ivory pancakes (white & dark chocolate chip pancakes). They haven't been on the menu in almost 10 yrs but they still make them for those who know to ask for them :)

20 Beach Street ExtensionThe original Black Dog tavern of the now famous t-shirts. This has been around since the 70's and is still a very down to earth tavern. Wait times can be long in the summer if you arrive after 9am, so expect to get there early or have a wait. Ask for the Ebony & Ivory pancakes (white & dark chocolate chip pancakes). They haven't been on the menu in almost 10 yrs but they still make them for those who know to ask for them :)

Good casual spot to hang out and enjoy some yummy local craft brews while enjoying the beautiful flower gardens of Donaroma's nursery!

Beautiful, historic lighthouse with the most amazing views of the clay Acquinnah cliffs. Definitely make a trek up here, you haven't experienced MV until you've been "up island".

The original Black Dog clothing store is run out of the small red building on water street. Only on-island can you buy the T-Shirts that have the island name and year printed on the back. Never again will you buy Black Dog items from one of their sister off-island chain stores :)

Gorgeous beautiful clay cliffs of all different colors. Lots of parking but there is a good hike to the beach from the lot. The majority of the beach is for families, when you go around the corner under the lighthouse though it's a nudist beach. So either enjoy, or wear your sunglasses while going for a walk.

Awesome beach for families - you have the ocean with some decent waves and a big drop-off on one side, and then a fresh-water pond for the kiddos and washing the salt off on the other side. Enjoy some off-roading with the long dirt access road to get there.

During off season it is open. The sand is so soft, fine, and white that you'd think you were in the Caribbean. Many wedding and engagement photos are taken here :)
