Midori sushi is known to be the best cost performance sushi chain in Japan. Midori sushi Shibuya ever after it's opening, there always is a queue of people outside this sushi restaurant in Mark City, Shibuya. We do have cheaper sushi restaurants, but you will see that those restaurants only get crowded during certain time of the day, but here, it is almost always crowded. You would need to wait for 30min to 1hr, but you will be convinced with the quality of the sushi toppings against the price that it is worth waiting. You can also take out if you feel like having some back.

Since Tempura Tsunahachi, in the Shibuya Seibu department store, is one of the best tempura bars in town, expect to wait a while before being seated. The wait is well worth it, however, for the expertly prepared tempura, which admirably avoids the pitfalls of sogginess for a crispy and delicious texture. The restaurant even has an English guide on how to eat tempura!

Queue of 10-20 people is quite common in this restaurant. For locals who are very picky about the taste of Yakitori, often considered as "tsu" people, they come here to have the best liver with "tare" sauce. Something also special about Toritake is that it makes you feel that you are in 70s or 80s of Showa time of Japan once you step inside, the atmosphere of the rooms being quite retro. Good place for you to visit if you are looking for high quality Yakitoris with real local atmosphere.
