Just a few blocks from my house on 39th street, this is the top BBQ place in KC as well as being the number one restaurant in KC for several years now. It is very popular, especially during the evenings. Reservations are recommended with larger groups in particular.

The largest museum I've ever been to in a medium sized city, but this museum can compete with any of the big museums with it's phenomenal collection. It has the old building along with the new Bloch building addition as well as an amazing outdoor sculpture garden that it great to visit even on days when the museum is closed. As a bonus, does not charge an entry fee! Special exhibits that are usually in the Bloch building do have an entrance fee.
