Prescott has a lively music scene with many venues and good restaurants. There is also a casino. Whiskey Row is a historic area in Prescott in which you can find Jersey Lily's, the Palace, the Bird Cage, etc. This is where the outlaws drank back in the days of the Wild West. Across from it is a historic courthouse which features free live music in the summer.

This is a winery which offers live music on Saturdays, in addition to its tasting room being open most of the week. They also do special events for fine dining and weddings. It is located on a farm in Chino Valley and has a very comfortable feel.

Jerome is one of my favorite places to visit. It is a historic copper mining ghost town that is being restored. It is now an artists community with many good places to eat. My favorite is Grapes. You will find the view to be awesome and shopping unique.

The Grand Canyon is one of the seven wonders of the world. We are only 2 and one half hours away from this incredible destination. The El Trovar and Bright Angel offer food and drink; and there is a lot of history there to be discovered.

This is a great place for hiking. No charge and horses are catered to as well. Beautiful scenery and views. Good trails.
