Of all the amazing Italian restaurants in the neighborhood this is my favorite! Atmosphere is a little brighter and more family friendly but the food is not fancy but amazing!

Unusual menu, beautifully prepared food. There's usually a bit of a wait but there's a cute bar next door where you can wait for their call.

Large bar, great bar food. Usually a fun crowd. Wednesday night trivia and on weekends they often have a DJ and clubish atmosphere downstairs.
Kitchen is open until at least 2am and the food is better than Public House.

Nice French restaurant with backyard seating. They also have a less formal breakfast/ lunch spot right around the corner on Vanderbilt.

Everything you could want in a park. Lakes, zoo, fields, you can bike or run on a trail around it. Close to the Brooklyn botanical gardens and the Brooklyn museum.

Essentials
They deliver anything you could want grocery or booze wise. Because I'm either busy or lazy. They also have a sister company "Foodkick" that delivers a limited items, but still a nice selection, within a few hours.
I'd also recommend the app "Seamless" for restaurant delivery.
