May look a bit dodgy but trust us we love their chocolate covered donuts and little strudel type pastries in flavors you won't find on the mainland like Guava and Mango. They also do a delicious poke bowl and although the pickled garlic might be pricey it is super tasty along side all your local dishes.

If you like cinnamon and french toast then stop here and pick up their cinnamon bread and turn that loaf into french toast. Their butter rolls are super buttery if you like it that way and with a good jar of lilikoi butter or jam you will definitely feel you are in Hawaii. Recommend grabbing a jar of the lilikoi butter at tamuras or sacknsave and having this for a morning snack with half a papaya.

Everything is delicious here. My favorite place for pancakes. Seriously yummy local flavors. Must try the flight of pancakes a trio of flavors like lilikoi, chocolate taro haupia & cookie buttah.

This place looks shady inside and out. But if it's open... because sometimes it is closed...go in!. It's worth it just for the ability to say you visited Waianae and went into slides! They have the best Tako (octopus) poke on the west side. They also make crazy tasty Puerto Rican style empanadas. Their pasteles pronounced here pah-te-lez is full of flavors like cilantro, olives and tomato. Their pasteles are so good they supply the Foodland super markets. So make sure if you walk in here you grab a foil wrapped pasteles or two. Perfect for a snack or picnic item.

Just please don't yell down the mountainside or leave your trash behind. Be aware of sunset time so you don't get stuck up on the mountain and someone has to call for search and rescue.

Need your hair or nails done while staying here... closest to the house. Wonderful ladies capable of beautifying you. Only problem is they book up fast so call to see first thing if you can make an appointment or even better make an appointment before you come. Yes, they can be that busy.

This is the neighborhood beach to go to. We enjoy its incredible vista at sunset. ONLY 5 minutes away. This is key to easy and enjoyable stress free family moments. We take the kids and plop them in the sand and let them run and play to their hearts content. Want and need memorable family moments then make sure to do this every day you are here as much as you can. Grab a picnic blanket some beach toys and head here for an hour or two before sunset. No kids... even better grab some wine and cheese at the Foodland in Kapolei or at Costco (but foodland at the R. Fields area is the place to go) and don't forget some plastic cups and a wine opener. 5 star recommendation!

We take the kids and plop them in the sand and let them run and play to their hearts content. Want and need memorable family moments then make sure to do this every day you are here as much as you can. Grab a picnic blanket some beach toys and head here for an hour or two before sunset. No kids... even better grab some wine and cheese at the Foodland in Kapolei or at Costco (but foodland at the R. Fields area is the place to go) and don't forget some plastic cups and a wine opener. 5 star recommendation!

They offer yoga by donation one day a week and the cafe has some incredibly healthy lite fare that is pretty much unmatched anywhere on the coast. We love their water, wraps and desserts. Bring a bottle of wine and close out the evening here its quiet and just a tad off the beaten track but if you like healthy this is the place to stop.
