You go here for the food- not the decor or ambiance. Absolutely delicious NC BBQ, hushpuppies and all the standards. BUT... they have salads and veggie options! Woo hoo!

Grab coffee and a pastry, or go through the salad bar or hot food line and then sit outside on the lawn and people watch! When the weather is nice it's a scene... sometimes they even have live music.

Outstanding steakhouse with plenty of other options for folks who don't eat red meat. Great drinks, excellent wine list and top notch service. Also, right next door to DPAC.

To get around weird NC liquor laws, you have to pay $5 to get in... it's a "club". This is how they get around the rule that you must serve food if you have liquor. Worth the 5 bucks- fun spot, lots of locals, pool table out back.
