Local favorite Avoca is the bustling place to be on Magnolia Ave in the mornings. They take great pride in their coffee, as well as offering some pastries and breakfast tacos in their eclectic space.

Fantastic 1970's-era point of interest, the Water Gardens are among my favorite places in Fort Worth. When you go, be sure to stop in to the T&P train station right across Lancaster for it's fantastic restored Art Deco space, now often used for weddings or other events. Just past that you'll find the T&P Tavern, a real hidden gem with a style and flair that will make you feel like it's 1915 again.

Unique local store just a 5 minute walk away, the Old Home Supply is the go-to supply house for those of us with 100+ year old houses. With its collection of antique appliances, fixtures, decorations, and parts, it might be better described as a living museum!
