In the heart of Bellagio historic village. Tasty local food, good wine selection, great homemade desserts! Friendly and easygoing. Ideal both for lunch and dinner. Nice outdoor. If you need to wait for a table, there are some pillows to sit down on the cobbled stairs. Order a glass of wine and enjoy the local vibe! :-) Despite this place is in the hustle and bustle of the touristic area, it is authentic and friendly. Good prices for healthy and tasty food. No reservations required. Better go there aroun 7 - 7.30pm for dinner. The kitchen closes at 9.30pm

Nice panini, great cold dishes, and the best Spritz ever! if you have missed to buy some goodies for your meals, you can stop here for fresh homemade bread and focaccia, cheese, cold cuts, pasta and basic sauces, beers and wines and some cookies and croissants.

Great villa with beautiful botanical gardens. One of the most famous historical villas on the lake. Ideal for a promenade in the morning (fresh air!) , or late in the afternoon (beautiful sunset).

The best way to explore the lake! You can rent kayaks and SUP, or book a guided tour on kayak. Mich, who manages this little water sport center, is nice and really helpful. Booking is requested.

I bus locali in estate sono molto affollati: prediligi viaggi presto la mattina e non aspettare mai l'ultima corsa della sera per muoverti verso la tua destinazione.
Gli autisti possono lasciarti a terra se l'autobus è a piena capienza.
Evita il bus se viaggi con grandi bagagli. Occuperai il posto di altre persone.

Se vuoi esplorare il centro lago in un solo giorno, con corse illimitate, c'è il biglietto ONE DAY. Chiedilo alla biglietteria e fatti dare qualche consiglio di itinerario. In un giorno puoi vedere Tremezzo e la Villa Carlotta, Lenno e Varenna. Lascia Varenna per ultima, li il tramonto è stupendo.
Se viaggi con bambini puoi chiedere un biglietto HAPPY FAMILY che ti farà risparmiare un po'.
Se devi imbarcare la tua auto sul ferry e hai orari programmati di viaggio, per es. la coincidenza con un treno, recati al terminal con buon anticipo per essere sicuro di poter salire sul ferry.

il tempo cambia velocemente
In estate sul Lago può fare molto caldo, ma ti sorprenderà sapere che a volte ci sono repentini cambi di temperatura, possono esserci forti piogge e temporali.
Porta con te una giacca anti vento (come il Kway), una felpa, e scarpe impermeabili.
Per l'autunno/inverno, meglio avere qualcosa che ti protegge la testa (beanie) perché il vento può essere freddo e tagliente.
Meglio una duvet jacket che un semplice cappotto
