This is an old favourite, the appearance, menu and great food has not really changed in decades....and it is always busy which suggests they got it right years ago!

Decent pub, good beers and burgers! Nice garden for the summer. Past of the local brewery chain. Old historic building too.

A very historic gateway to the City, but the museum was only opened a couple of years ago - worth a look for the 'murder hole'!!!! And definitely worth climbing the stairs for the city wide views
