This is an under-the-radar bar (they purposefully don't even have a sign outside) that serves cold beer and good food. Inside, it's a cross between a museum and a flea market: full of treasures!

This is, in my opinion, the best ice cream in Salvador. They also have a great açai for anyone interested in trying a bowl of the blended fruit. Sanwiches and snacks are also available there.

Going to the Balé Folclórico is a must. In a short performance that leaves time for other things that night, you'll see some of the most traditional forms of dance + movement in afro-Brazilian culture

Every Saturday at sundown, the Museum of Modern Art puts on an outdoor jazz show on the water. The musicians are excellent. I recommend going to see the sunset and staying for the concert. Ends early.

This is a working hotel with a bar on their deck. I recommend it for the incredible view and the gorgeous space they have. The service is not top-notch, so just be aware.
