Málaga's refurbished food market. It has traditional food stalls as well as a range of food outlets - traditional and modern where you get a table and then choose what you want. Great at night andthey often have concerts and exhibitions too.

Just around the corner, this is an exceptional new restaurant. Great staff, interesting food and not that expensive for the quality you get. Go for a selection of the half-plates and you can get a better experience of the menu - we love the sea-bass (lubina) and the cochinillo (slow-roast suckling pig). Be brave and have the salmon sandwich with chips and ketchup for desert. Incredible!

Fantastic home-made bread including sourdough, this is also a great place for coffee and one of their home-made cakes.

Málaga's botanic garden on the edge of the city. Don't be put off by it's proximity to the motorway, it is fascinating and well worth a visit. Great café too.
