A local favorite! This "Loncheria" is located at the market downtown, open for breakfast and lunch. I love the huevos a la Mexicana and Chile Relleno. Great for local cuisine on a budget. My favorite meals are between 2-5 USD!!! Plus the family is lovely and I grew up with the owner's grandchildren. She is so sweet and can alter any meal in any way you need. It's a steal!! Fresh juices are served at her restaurant or can be bought by the liter inside the market towards the back with Mercedes.

Mango's is super popular and everyone tends to love it!! I think the coffee is amazing and my family always goes for pancakes :) Best of all it's a 5 minute walk from my house!

During the day this place serves a great roasted chicken! And at night - my favorite - all the local snack foods including empanadas, flautas, salbutes, tostadas, chicken soup and much more. You can orden by the piece and it is super economical. 10 minute walk from my house!!

Drinks & Nightlife
If you want to go out dancing with the younger scene - this is a great place to hang out. The bar and dance floor are right off the beach, you can hang out with your feet in the sand, lay in a hammock or dance to Mexico's latest hits. The bar is usually 2x1 on mixed drinks and they are open late!
Some nights there is live music a bit earlier on the inside hostal part! Small bar inside as well.

Entertainment & Activities
I have been snorkeling with Sea Hawk a few times and they helped me get over my snorkel fear!! I have also joined them for a Whale Shark tour during the summer which includes an amazing ceviche prepared by the captain!! The staff is super friendly and the owners are great!!
