A great place for lots of dinner choices on a Thursday night! Stroll down Tutanekai Street and taste what's on offer at the night market stalls. Please note, if it's raining, the market will be cancelled.

Only a hop, skip and a jump from your private suite - make sure the Redwoods Treewalk is on your list to do while you're here. You can even do this walk at night time with all of the beautiful lights/lanters on through the forest.

Hellsgate is roughly a 12min drive from your suite. This is an incredible geothermal site with lots of live thermal activity/boiling mud and even a bubbling mini volcano that erupts once every 6 weeks. Hear the ground rumble as you make your way around this incredible natural wonderland. You can also take a dip in their sulphur spa or take a mud bath. Good parking and a cafe is also located onsite.

Te Puia is a fantastic attraction with a combination of both Maori heritage/culture and geyser/thermal activity. It is also home to a kiwi house where you can see kiwi up close if they're awake!

Head down Steep Street and just before you reach Millar Road, turn right into the carpark and you're at one of our favourite spots for swimming at during summer. It's not far from Boyes Beach but is commonly known in Rotorua as 'Girls Beach' and is not as widely known by the general public. But shhh this is our little secret!
