There are walks and bike rides from our front door in beautiful scenery, short walks or long, easy to difficult. We can show you a route that runs from our front door , cross country through St Jean de Marcel, through woodland and back over a 16th century bridge (le pont du maux) where royalty once crossed on route to Toulouse. (Visorando 2hrs 50, 8.8km, Difficult.)

Lac de la Roucarie by Canitrot is a lovely lake with a small beach where you can swim - this is supervised in the summer. There is a walk that goes around the lake - a nice easy mostly flat walk on a good surface, or you could Canoe, Kayak or Sail here.

UNESCO word heritage site of Albi has a stunning and huge gothic cathedral of red brick dating from the 12th Century with intricate stone masonary on the entrance and cloisters inside. Fascinating frescoe of the last judgement and artwork to the walls and ceilings inside. It is also next door to the Toulouse Lautrec musuem and palais de la Berbie.

Very well known hilltop bastide town, with lots of historic buildings and interest. Many festivals and events on in the summer. Artisan shops, restaurants, bistro's, and amazing views. Also a little tourist train to take you up or down the hill complete with commentary.
