Beaches
We have about 20 beaches around the island. Most don't have tavernas or cafes so be prepared to go equipped with food and water. Some need a bit of a walk to get to. Some don't have shade at all. If it gets really windy, it's best to choose beaches with pebbles to avoid getting whipped by the sand
Livadakia beach
This is the beach where the house is located.
You can get to this beach from Livadakia Beach by foot, just over the hill. No shade no food. Don't go if it's very windy

Amazing secluded beach...Need to walk a bit to get there. The way back is a bit tiring esp. if you have small kids. No shade, no tavernas. You need to go equipped. Make sure you weather swim or walk on the rocks to the rightof the beach to a spot until you can't continue anymore. amazing green blue water

Another great beach...no shade at all and can get super windy here. Used to be my favourite when it was completely secluded. Now there is a small boutique hotel at the one side which is spreading it's chaise-longue across the beach. There is also a small canteen for all to use with refreshments and sandwiches. The lady who owns it brings the stuffto the beach.

Ganema Beach
Amazing big beach! It can get crowded but it's big enough to fit a lot of people. the bus goes to this beach. It can get very windy here and sometimes it's impossible to stay on the beach because the sand is very fine and you can get whipped by it. There are however pebbles at the far end in this case. There is a tavern at the far end and a beach bar for drinks and snacks
Not the best beach but huge and with pebbles...Could be an alternative if the wind is too strong.

Most popular beach which can get pretty packed. It has shallow waters so great for kids. It has 2 tavernas and lot's of shade. Best Taverna is Manolis. One of the few beaches you can get to by bus. There are trees for shade. No taverna here so need to go equipped with water and food if you're going to stay all day. It never gets really busy here because most people stop and stay at Psili Ammos
