This tower used to be Shell headquarters and is now open to the public. Spectaculair view over the center of Amsterdam and beyond. The elevator ride is an adventure in itself, great for kids. If you dare, you can take your turn in the swings that will swing you over the edge of the lookout terrace!

Voted 'best swimming pool in the world' last year, this is a brand new building in beautiful architecture, completely climate neutral, with inside and outside pools. Not spectaculair but a lovely community swimming pool.
