We had lunch at this venue today and found the property worth a visit. Plenty of parking off street, good food (pub style) and plenty of staff who take a pride in their jobs. Prices were good and our meals arrived quickly. This was a Sunday lunchtime so a popular spot for visitors and locals alike.

Masonmill Family Restaurant is a fully licensed venue and is now open till late Friday and Saturday evenings with our kitchens now staying open until 4:00pm on Sundays

The Munda Biddi Trail, like the majority of the 12 purpose-built overnight facilities along it's route, is named in the language of the traditional custodians of the country through which it winds it way for 1000km between Mundaring on the eastern outskirts of Perth and Albany on the south coast. The English translation of the Noongar 'Munda Biddi' is 'path through the forest'.
The Trail traverses many parks of the Experience Perth and Australia's South West regions via a mix of purpose-built single track (wide enough for just one bike) and existing and rehabilitated-for-cycles former forest tracks.

When it was first created Pioneer World was a carefully recreated replica of an 1880′s early settlers village. Located on the corner of the Albany and South Western Highways, in recent times the old buildings have remained but have been turned into restaurants, cafes, a day spa, a chapel, and, perhaps most incongruously, a Thai restaurant.
The Pioneer Village incorporates the Pioneer Village School which was established in 1981 as a non-denominational independent community school. The school and the surrounding buildings are Heritage Protected. It caters for kindergarten (3 yr olds) to Year 7.
