1.25 hours from cottage. Amazing site to see not like anything else on island!! You can drive all the way to the look out at the top. It is the tallest volcano that you can drive up. Hiking, site seeing, sunset, sunrise. NOTE: for sunrise you will need to get a visitor pass 2 weeks+ in advance at their website. All other times of day are open to go without a pass. So we say skip sunrise and go for sunset! Just as amazing!

Great park and large playground that was just restored by our local community for your kids that is only 5 min drive from the house. Large field for running and playing. Our kids favorite place to play and get energy out! Sometimes it is not raining here even though it may be raining at our house. We have seen many rainbows at this park while playing!!

Small grocery store owned by Foodland chain. It has all your essentials plus wine and beer. Their homemade in store banana bread is my favorite and can only be found at this haiku market when they have it. Also great poke and lots of choices in the deli case here!

Walk 2 mins out our back gate to this small grocery store. Its next to baked on Maui, Open 7 days a week 8am-10pm. This is a new store owned by a local resident and friend that strives to carry healthy foods and all your essentials such as eggs, milk, butter, cheese, pasta chips, drinks frozen foods, fresh foods, ice cream, sweets and small home supplies. Also has beer and wine. If you need a quick breakfast, lunch or dinner they have enough stuff to pull something together! And it's open later than any other store in our area for a late night snack!

This is a new store owned by a local resident and friend that strives to carry healthy foods and all your essentials such as eggs, milk, butter, cheese, pasta chips, drinks frozen foods, fresh foods, ice cream, sweets and small home supplies. Also has beer and wine. If you need a quick breakfast, lunch or dinner they have enough stuff to pull something together! And it's open later than any other store in our area for a late night snack!
15-20 mins from our home in upcountry Pukalani is a large grocery store with everything you need. There is a laundromat in the same shopping center as well.
