Little hidden spot in Bergen: it is a bar AND a good restaurant (even if it does not look at all as such). Interior design 60's tired. You have a small menu but tasty and local food. With real Norwegian tastes. Very nice place to gather after our before a town trip, as couple, friends or family.

As the name says, it is coupled with a library where you could buy books. And also attend a nice cultural events program. The kitchen is "gastro-chic", meaning local raw materials and elegant cooking, with informal service. The menu is changing all the time. They have an amazing wine cave. Good from lunch , the all afternoon until dinner. Also a massive restaurant room behind for large group. Friendly for romance lunch/dinner, family, or alone relaxing and reading.
