Delicious for pizza night! Catch the live music on the weekends and you won't want to leave. Delicious pizza sure to impress however it is a bit small so if you're thinking to go with a large crowd it might be wise to call ahead. One of our favorites!

The holy shiitake is our favorite pie if you like mushrooms, and be ready for leftovers because the large will be sure to fill you fast. Perfect for the family and fun atmosphere inside and out!

The Biltmore Estate is humongous. You wont possibly fit exploring it in one day but if your here for a few or plan to come back again its worth your while to see! A bit pricey but again if you buy a pass and plan to come back it would be worth it!

A bit of a drive from the Tipi but if you're interested in waterfalls and hiking this forest is beautiful and the perfect day trip. There are tube rentals at the entrance to the park and you can drive through and stop at a handful of different trails to see some gorgeous natural wonders. Looking Glass is a favorite and if you don't mind spending a few dollars for entrance fee Slide Rock is a one of a kind experience for kids and adults alike! Pack some sandwiches and snacks there are also plenty of picnic spots to stop and take a break, but once in the park there are no food options. A bit of a drive from the Tipi but if you're interested in waterfalls and hiking this forest is beautiful and the perfect day trip. There are tube rentals at the entrance to the park and you can drive through and stop at a handful of different trails to see some gorgeous natural wonders. Looking Glass is a favorite and if you don't mind spending a few dollars for entrance fee Slide Rock is a one of a kind experience for kids and adults alike! I guess you could consider this like an amusement park. If you like problem solving (and hey even if you don't its fun to be a part of) then this is totally an activity for you. Get "trapped" inside of a room and find clues along with the plot you're given to escape the room within a certain time frame. A lot of fun with a group and check group-on for deals! They allowed our kids to come in and watch but it may not be for all youngsters as it could be a little nerve racking if you don't realize its all just a game. Totally recommend especially on a rainy day!

Hot springs has a lovely spa and resort you can call ahead and enjoy a natural hot spring tub soak. Not too far from there you can also book white water rafting, or hike on the Appalachian trail, or even take a swim along the laurel hiking paths.

Perfect surprise right in Weaverville, close to the laundromat and a handful of restaurants on Main Street you could surely make a day out of it!

Ducks swimming all around and I have seen people feeding them they seem friendly although we did not. Perfect surprise right in Weaverville, close to the laundromat and a handful of restaurants on Main Street you could surely make a day out of it!

A bit off the beaten path this trail was a wonderful experience for our family! With three kids the hike was the perfect distance and the views on top of the trail were incredible! Worth the drive if your interested in a hike with the family and there are options to do longer hikes to if your bold!
