The closest grocery shop with fair prices and decent offer. To get there from the apartment just go down the street and stairs down to the Matoševa street (cca 400m).

Considered the lungs of the city, this hilly nature reserve offers trails through fragrant pine forests to scenic lookouts, medieval chapels and cave dwellings once inhabited by Christian hermits. For an afternoon away from the city buzz, consider taking a long walk through the park and descending to Kašuni beach to cool off before catching the bus back.

Bene beach - (stone - sandy beach, approximately 2 km from the apartment) - this popular beach is located on the western part of Marjan, and it is a perfect place for family and kids. To get to Bene beach you will have to go by foot or by local bus because this beach is situated in the middle of forest park where no cars are allowed. Bene beach is surrounded by rocks and concrete parts but inside of the sea there is sand which makes it perfect for kids. On the beach you will find a restaurant with a spacious terrace, several sports fields and a few children's playgrounds. There is also a water slide for the children’s entertainment and, in the peak season, this beach is full of swimmers
