Using European wheat flour and extreme attention to detail, Pizzicleta owner Caleb takes great pride in providing a pie worth leaving home for. Many gluten-sensitive folks can enjoy the food at Pizzicelta because European wheat has not been subjected to chemicals in it's growth.

My friend, Tina Mion is an amazing surrealist artist. She has her own gallery in the La Posada Hotel that she and her husband own. Have a delicious lunch in the Turquoise Room (Black Bean Soup...yum!) and walk through the hallways. The rooms are open when unoccupied and you can view Tina's series of First Ladies. Her portrait of Jackie Kennedy is in the National Gallery in Washington, DC.

First Friday is a local institution which started out as an event to support local artists. If you enjoy the excitement of happy friendly crowds, this is a wonderful way to drinks up Flagstaff culture and nightlife for very little money. In addition to shops and galleries, restaurants also features original art by local creators. There are also plenty of buskers and live music to enjoy. 6-9 pm downtown Flagstaff, first Friday of each month.

She still presents the occasional wild plant forage and has several assistants she has trained in the harvest and preparation of her remedies. Her two daughters also created and invented their own lines of skin care products which can be purchased in the shop.
