Very cute cafe that serves a good breakfast and lunch for the local crowd. charming location - entrance on gt sutton street - literally opposite The Slaughtered Lamb. It has a charming bar as well.

Truly fantastic and good value. Inspired by Persian population in Mumbai. The owners are the heirs of the Tilda rice company. It's great, but be prepared to queue... Worth it. Fantastic cocktails.

Interesting road full of Vietnamese restaurants. And from my flat direct on the 243 bus. Just hop off on the first bus stop along vibrant Kingsland Road and choose one of the many Vietnamese.

A lovely 25 minute walk from the flat and a world-famous gallery. The scenic route takes you past St Paul's Cathedral and over the Millennium Bridge.

An absolute Gem. Beneath the Priory Church, the Norman Crypt is one of the few London buildings of its period and is powerfully evocative of its history. Romanesque and Gothic arches, memorial plaques, beautiful glass and fascinating tomb effigies embellish. Also on street level a lovely Cloister Garden.
And then visit the excellent Modern Pantry for delicious food, and follow with cocktails at The Zetter Townhouse. All located on the same square.
