See where the famous Container Ship, Pasha Bulker ran aground off the coast in wild weather in June 2007. The local Westpac Helicopter Crew safely rescued the 22 crew from on board the unladen vessel, after enormous media coverage. There is a memorial sculpture along the walkway.
