Parks & Nature
Amelisweerd is Holland's only 'river forest' and a (beautifull) hour's walk from our home. Walk to Oudegracht, turn right, keep canal on the left and at Ledig Erf cross to Speck Bar @ Grill and choose path alongside Kromme Rijn canal. Keep water on your left. Within 15 minutes you walk out of the city and the scenery keeps getting better and better. Take a relaxed lunch/drink/diner at Stayokay and take bus 41 back into the city (4 x per hour).
