If you want great Japanese food, check out Taka at 660 Cookman Avenue. My favorite is the Teriyaki Chicken. You won't be disappointed with this restaurant that serves authentic Japanese.

The Empress Hotel has music and drinks at Paradise Club on the first floor. It is fun to go there on Saturday night or Sunday afternoon for music, dancing and people-watching.
