You go here for those things, not the service. This place is a staple for me. Could be my fav dinner around. Very low key.

if you are in town on a saturday, you must do their $10 brunch. it is the best deal around for a fancy place. Definitely make a reservation or you won't get in without a multi hour wait.

The South end is full of great places to eat. Stephie's is a Boston landmark. They have two locations. One on Newbury called Stephanie's, and this one which is closer to my place and less touristy.

This is another of my fav places (but there are so many good one's around!) This has a true neighborhood feel and has been around since before the South End was a good place to live.

Another place for great theatre, the Calderwood is all of the best of Boston talent. I'd especially recommend checking out Huntington Theater productions.

Walk down here from my apartment and walk the esplanade. You'll look over the Charles river at Cambridge. A lovely walk.
