My favorite bar and my family's favorite bar! A great place to go watch the sunset in the Blue Ridge with a tasty drink in hand. The shrimp appetizer is wonderful!

One of the coolest tourist traps! Locals get trapped here too :) They do tours and showings of how they make the cheese, have a small museum, and tasty cheese. I love their veggie cheese!

This is my fall back for a good hike and great views. A must see for all visitors to the area. Easily accessible trails and great for equestrian fans.

I recommend the access from Shull's Mill Road to take my favorite hike up to Rich Mountain, the spiral on the NW side of the map here. Amazing view, peaceful, and quiet.

The quickest access to the BRPW from my house. A great way to see the mountains and get some quiet. Head south to Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, and Asheville. Head north for my favorite waterfall.
