Yes it's a chain but it's new for us SLO folks. Great, pick-your-own-toppings pizzas and good selection of draft beer. Nice outdoor seating area. And it's close to the house.

Rotisserie chicken is really good too, nice sized birds, enough for leftovers. Desserts are delectable and the specials always surprising and changing. Open for breakfast lunch and early dinner.

Emily and Vince will set you up with a kayak or paddle board and you're off to frolic with dolphins, otters, whales, harbor seals and sea lions in an amazing location with calm waters and an historic lighthouse. One of my all time faves, I am a frequent flier here.

You can walk there from the house, it's one of the Seven Sisters peaks, one of the five that is open to the public. Striking views and relatively easy hiking. Every season has its own beauty. Open dawn until dusk. No night hiking. Strict leash laws.
