If you walk the beach and look back at the cliffs you will see very interesting geological evidence of the earth's crust bending and folding upon itself. Also, I have seen moose tracks on the sand.

Definitely a great way to take easy walks and learn about the local environment. Check out the Orono Boardwalk while you are there!
