Because Ruhel is the owner, from Bangledesh and the food is awesome. He is also very community minded and grows food which he uses in his restaurant, has bees on the roof and grows tilapia in the basement.

In summer this is a great spot to eat fish and sea food. Lines are long, go on off times. This is right in Minnehaha Park next to Minnehaha Falls and has music at night and a variety of wines and beer.

The food, especially the buffet; is very good. This is food from the Himalayan region and the owners are from that region of the world. Like Ghandi Mahal the food is very tasty and authentic. Within walking distance.

South American and Spanish influenced fare - good tacos, lots of meat items, good shrimp tacos, full bar. Good margaritas and this one is VERY close by. Happy Hour 2-5 and Taco Tuesdays which offers low price tacos.

Young folks seem to dig this place. All I know is they have good brandy alexanders - they have some strange donuty things and other American type food. I have not eaten much there.

This is a down home kind of place, good soups, sandwiches, burritos, and baked goods.
Down the street from Riverview Theater, only the best theater in the whole world and you can walk there from here. Eat on your way but save room for popcorn.

The Howe is close by and offers lots of good food, a full bar and is always hopping with people. Nice back seating area. I have never been disappointed by their food.

OMG - great pot pies, hand made and tasty. Also, $1 cookies and really good baked items. They have coffee, but a standing bar for eating - feels like you are in Italy - great family owned, small and intimate bakery.

This is really a distillery and they have now tapped the whiskey kegs. They have a Happy Hour but it only goes from 4-6. Drinks are good and very strong using their own gin, vodka or whiskey. I believe they have a coffee liquor too.

They have a good selection of beers and some of my friends would say the best burgers around town. Within walking distance and close to 38th Street light rail stop.
