Where the Godfather was shooted, Savoca it's a fascinating medieval village with a spectacular view to the sea, it's just 20 minutes driving from the houses. Try the "panino cunzato"

Just 10 minutes driving north of Taormina it's much more authentic and calm, one of my favourite place to go for a dring or a dinner. Go to Ciccino's pizzeria, you won't regreat it.

Of course Taormina it worth more than a visit, plenty of places to recommand where to eat or have a drink but my favourite is Restaurant il Duomo.
