Town Shuttle - Free Bus
Check out the Gunnison Valley rta website for more info.
During the spring, summer and fall, all RTA buses stop at CB South. Check out the local bus schedule. It picks up the park near the ice rink. Its a 3 min walk from the house.
During the winter, the bus will also take you directly to town or the Mt for skiing.

Things to do in the summer
Mountain bike the 401, snodgrass or lupine trails. Hartman Rocks in Gunnison is also a favorite and less crowded.
Rent SUP boards and float the river or bring up to Lake Irwin.
Fly fish on the Taylor River.
Take an ATV to a scenic spot for a picnic.
Endless hiking. Cave Creek off cement creek road is close and short with great views.
Get your feet wet in the Slate River.
